Moments from the First Conference of the TEAA

The first conference of the TEAA was held on December 24th, 2023, and engaged over 30 Alumni who were in Tajikistan; for the rest of the members who were abroad, the online broadcast was organized. According to the agenda, the founder of the TEAA Saidqosim Mukhtorov had an opening speech. He mentioned that just in 2018 there were only 4 Alumni from the Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC and now there are over 60 of Alumni. That is why he expressed his idea that now it is time to get united and direct all the competences, skills and knowledge acquired during the exchange semesters in the framework of the #Erasmus+ ICM for the community building and service. Thus, the first conference and further working year for #TEAA was announced as the community-building year.

Following the founder’s speech, the flour was given to the co-founder of the #TEAA Firuz Okhunov, who delivered his thoughts on how the organisation should be run. He mentioned that the aim of the #TEAA is to address #UN #SDGs 4, 7, 8, 13, 15.

Also, there were several speeches by the activists of the #TEAA who presented about the importance of social media presence for #TEAA, legal aspects of the organisation, potential fieldwork to be done and future perspectives. The board of the #TEAA expresses their gratitude to Khusrav Mamadjonov, Mahmud Boymatov, Shuhrat Qobilov, Rukhshona Achilova, Farzona Ismatova, Shavkat Abduvaliev, Fakhriddin Farrukhzoda, Shahriyor Vahobov for their delivered presentations during the conference. Furthermore, the board sends the sincere appreciation for all the members who attend the conference both in-person and online, contributing to the development of #TEAA and community building in Tajikistan.
