
TEAA Conference & Annual Meeting
On December 27, 2025, the Tajikistan Erasmus Alumni Association (TEAA) successfully held the 3rd TEAA Conference & Annual Meeting in a hybrid format in Khujand, Tajikistan.
The conference was held under the theme:
“Internationalization at Home Universities: Challenges and Opportunities.”
The conference was officially opened by Dr. PhD Nakhatzoda Mohbonu, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Tajikistan, who emphasized the strategic importance of the Erasmus+ Programme for youth development, academic mobility, capacity building, and the strengthening of higher education systems in Tajikistan.
The event continued with a welcome address by Saidqosim Mukhtorov, TEAA Founder and Director of the International Center for Global Engagement at IET TSUC, who highlighted the role of alumni engagement in advancing internationalization and higher education reforms.
Throughout the conference, Erasmus+ alumni and invited speakers shared academic and professional experiences gained at European universities, representing institutions in Bulgaria, Croatia, Spain, and Finland. The agenda covered key topics, including:
– Internationalization at home in higher education institutions
– Foreign language education and academic mobility
– Practical outcomes of Erasmus+ for professional careers
– Alumni engagement and knowledge transfer
The program also included the introduction of new Erasmus+ finalists preparing to study at partner universities in Europe, followed by a certification ceremony and closing session.
The conference served as an important platform for policy dialogue, academic exchange, and strengthening cooperation among Erasmus+ stakeholders, alumni, and higher education institutions.
