Online meeting with the representatives of the Malaysian University Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)

On March 07, 2024 the delegation from the Institute of Economy and Trade of Tajik State University of Commerce (IET TSUC) had an online meeting with the representatives of the Malaysian University Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). UTAR was represented by the Director of Office of International Affairs Dr. Lai Soon Onn, Dean of Accountancy and Management Faculty Dr. Pok Wei Fong, Deputy Dean (Student Development and Industrial Training), Accountancy and Management Faculty Mr. Ken Low Chin Kian, Head of Economics Department, Accountancy and Management Faculty Mr. Low Choon Wei and the Assistant Manager of the Office of International Affairs Ms. Goo Yi Qun, while IET TSUC was represented by the Vice Rector Dr. Dalerjon Mirpochoev, Director of International Center and Global Engagement Mr. Saidqosim Mukhtorov, Senior lecturer of World Economy Department Mr. Shuhrat Qobilov, Associate Professor of World Economy Department Dr. Anastasia Komarova, Associate Professor of World Economy Department Dr. Shoira Azizova and Assistant lecturer of World Economy Department Shahnozakhon Abdulfayzova. The meeting aimed to explore potential collaboration in teaching, research, internships, staff trainings and exchange programs. At the beginning of the meeting Dr. Dalerjon Mirpochoev and Dr. Lai Soon Onn exchanged a brief overview of their respective organisations. During the meeting, various topics, including internships, student inbound and outbound programmes, joint research projects, etc., were thoroughly discussed and explored. Both sides expressed their readiness to start implementing above-mentioned goals in reality in the nearest future.
