Slovakia National Scholarship Program
The National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic supports study/research/teaching/artistic mobility of international students, postgraduate students, university teachers, researchers and artists at higher education institutions and research organizations. It supports mobility in both directions – international scholars to Slovakia and Slovak scholars abroad. The program offers grants to cover living expenses during the stay and travel allowances (all categories in the case of Slovak grantees; undergraduate and graduate students in the case of international grantees).
The Institute of Economy and Trade is particularly establishing partnership with the Comenius University of Bratislava and the applicants who would like to participate in the Slovak National Scholarship Program can make a research of the partner university and get approval from their side to have a mobility in case all the requirements are met.
The International Center and Global Engagement will coordinate the application process and this would mean that the first step of the application is to prepare the documents listed below and send to the International Center. The next step will be collecting all the documents by the internal deadline (indicated below) and the documents of the applicants will be sent to the partner university. Once the partner university accepts the applications and provides the letter on acceptance then the third step would be validating all the documents to the National Scholarship Platform individually by each applicant.
List of necessary documents for the first round:
- CV (Europass format)
- Motivation Letter
- Confirmation letter from the university confirming that an applicant is a regular student at IET TSUC
- Transcript of records
Internal Deadline for the round 1: October 21st, 12:00 Tajik time. (All the documents should be submitted online to f.okhunov@iet.tj in PDF format. No hard-copies will be accepted).
For the second round you will need to add some more documents to the above-mentioned ones:
- Detailed study plan/program (you can find the list of courses delivered at the Comenius University of Bratislave here)
