ERASMUS+ KEY ACTION 171 International Credit Mobility for 2025-2026

Project description: The Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC in Khujand (IET TSUC) has approved a project with the Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania on international credit mobility. The inter-institutional agreement for 2024-2026 between Mykolas Romeris University and the Institute of Economy and Trade of TSUC in Khujand was signed. Under international credit mobility, an HEI in a Partner Country can send its students, doctoral candidates or staff to a partner HEI in a Programme Country, and vice versa. Students or doctoral candidates are able to study abroad for a limited period of 3 to 5 months for which credits are obtained. After the mobility phase, the students return to their sending institution to complete their studies. Similarly, staff can spend a teaching and/or training period abroad for up to 2 months. According to this agreement IET TSUC is HEI from Partner Country and the Mykolas Romeris University is HEI from Programme Country.
The documents for the student’s application are:
- CV in English (EUROPASS model) or alternatively you can create in the Europass platform: CV Europass
- Copy of passport
- Transcript of Records
- Certificate of English language skills accreditation (at least B2 level)
- Motivation letter
- Recommendation letter (Please, note that for this call one recommender (teacher, employer) can give reference letter maximum to two applicants. Thus, before receiving a recommendation letter make sure to identify it from your recommender).
- Certificate of enrollment at home university during the current academic year
- If you are in a disadvantaged financial, social or cultural situation, you shall submit valid document(s) accrediting that this is your case. (Students with fewer opportunities must submit valid document(s) accrediting this condition in order to apply for additional funding)
- Learning agreement for studies

The candidates will be selected on the basis of personal motivation, intercultural abilities, knowledge of English and academic excellence. (Among students with the same level of academic excellence and language knowledge, the most disadvantaged student from a poor socio-economic background or a student with special needs will be selected).

In 2025/2026, international weeks for staff are scheduled:
November 24-28, 2025 – international professors are welcome to any academic division of Mykolas Romeris University and especially to Faculty of Public Governance and Business, which hosts the conference on November 26 “The place and role of research in the development of social, health and education services in regions” taking place at MRU. Although the weather is almost winterly, at the end of November a Christmas tree will be light-up in Vilnius to open the Christmas Season, thus it maybe extra interesting to arrive around that period to observe and participate in really exciting events in Vilnius.
March 23-27, 2026 Faculty of Human and Social Studies organizes the international teaching week with a focus on Neurodidactics.
April 13-17, 2026 (Public Security Academy organizes the international teaching week which includes a conference / forum as an annual international event (the latest forum’s information is here: http://sustainsecure2025.mruni.eu/ )
May 4-8, 2026 there will be an international teaching week at MRU with several international professors coming to different faculties. Moreover, May 9 – a day of Europe is nicely celebrated in Vilnius thus giving a possibility to join celebrations.
ALSO we can accept an individual teaching visit during any week of the semesters:
In Autumn semester (which lasts during September-January) the teaching is the most active and easy to integrate visitors between mid September till the end of November .
In Spring semester (which lasts during February-June) the teaching is most active between mid February till early May.

- If you are in a disadvantaged financial, social or cultural situation, you shall submit valid document(s) accrediting that this is your case
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the teaching and research experience (teaching mobility) or professional experience (training mobility), relevance of the activities foreseen in the Mobility Agreement and in accordance with the project proposal, and motivation.
