The 4th National Roundtable at the IET TSUC under the UNICAC project

The IET TSUC has been implementing the UNICAC since 2019. Certainly, the UNICAC project made the IET TSUC one of the most internationalized universities in the country. And we are continually working on the project activities. On August 25, 2022, we had the final, 4th National Roundtable – W.P. 8.1., open for public participants. The National Roundtable at the IET TSUC brought together more than 110 participants, including teaching staff, administrative staff, students (newcomers), school leavers, school teachers, etc.
The 4th National Roundtable at the IET TSUC was supported by the regional education department of Sughd. The director of the IET TSUC Hoshimzoda Homid Hasan has made an open speech, mentioning the general aspects of the university development and its internationalization policy, and the role of the UNICAC project in reaching the set goals. Deputy-director of Research and International affairs, Dalerjon Mirpochoev presented the topic of Internationalization of the IET TSUC: Today and Tomorrow. In his presentation, the current situation of Internationalization, strategic goals, and the importance of Internationalization was touched on.
At this stage of the UNICAC, all 11 partner organizations are working on the Creation of the Network, a cross-regional network for cooperation in Internationalisation, this is going to be a continuation of the project, and will assure the sustainability of the project. About this topic, and moreover about a partnership with universities in the consortia beyond the UNICAC have told us the institutional project coordinator Saidqosim Mukhtorov.
One of the big parts of the project recently implemented was the UNICAC short-term mobility. The second part of the National roundtable was dedicated to sharing stories, experiences and knowledge gained during the UNICAC short-term mobility, and International Credit Mobility KA107.
Shoira Muhitdinova, Anastasia Komarova, and Nigora Shamsieva shared their mobility experience at the University of Turin, Italy. Studying and doing an internship at the School of Management and Economics of the University of Turin gave them valuable knowledge, in addition, their stay was combined with another activity W.P.2.6. Practical Training at the International relations office.
Farrukhjon Kamolov, Chinoroy Davlyatova and Kamoliddin Aminzoda presented to all the University of Seville, and the city of Seville, Spain. Studying at the Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Law and doing an internship at the Library of the University of Seville was a unique experience. Farrukhjon Kamolov participated in the W.P. 4.2. Library Exchange System. As well all the participants could join the International Staff Week of the University of Seville.
Shoira Azizova, Sarvaroy Maqsudova and Saidqosim Mukhtorov mobility participants at the Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Finland as well were happy to tell inspiring stories about Finnish education, participation in the classes, and sharing best practices with a teaching staff of Laurea. In September we are expecting the last mobility of master’s student Zebiniso Akhmedjonova to Laurea.
Further International Credit Mobility KA107 alumni, (students and teaching staff) of the IET TSUC talked about their studies in partner universities. We had presentations from the University of Cantabria, the University of Cordoba, the University of Seville, University of Osijek, Varna University of Management, and Laurea University of Applied Sciences.
