Call for Participation 2024 “Chinese Bridge” Online Seminar of “Experiencing the Silk Road Cultures in Shaanxi” + Culture Learning Xi’AN University of Technology

Xi’an University of Technology (XUT) is a comprehensive public university featuring mainly science and technology, which is jointly constructed by the Ministry of Industry and Information. Technology of the PRC (MllT) and Shaanxi provincial government. XUT is one of the most i m porta nt t rain ing bases a nd resea rch centers for h igh-specia l ists in hyd roelect ric engineeri ng, equipment manufacturing, printing and packaging engineer ng in Northwest China. More than 100 international students from over 20 countries and regions have been studying in XUT.

The “Chinese Bridge” program – “Experiencing the Silk Road Cultures in Shaanxi”, closely echoes the theme of the Silk Road. Using language learning and output as the carrier, and the “immersive” experience of exploring the Silk Road cultures in Shaanxi as the path, the students will delve into the fine and gorgeous Han & Tang embroidery, the elegant and smooth porcelain, as well as the unique and traditional paper- maki ng techniques, etc. The program will guide the learners through the lineage of Chinese history, across the memories of space and time, and to experience the vigorous power within the different lives and different cultures in depth.

After the completion of the study, students will obtain the certificate of completion issued by Xi’an University of Technology, and have priority to apply for undergraduate, master and doctoral study in various majors in Xi’an University of Technology.
